Little Brother

"Consider yourself lucky, Regashi. I'm in a fairly good mood, so I'll make this quick."

"No! What's wrong with- AAAGH!"

Itachi Uchiha brought his sword down hard, deep into Regashi's chest. He could tell he hit his heart by the slight resistance he felt before hitting the cold wood floor below the man. Satisfied with his work, he withdrew the sword from his body so accurately and smoothly that not a single drop of blood was on the shining blade. Glancing one last time at the most recently fallen Uchiha, Itachi stormed out the door of the house and started back home, walking swiftly.

As he got closer to home, he became more and more depressed, his heart filled with strange dread. But he couldn't figure out why. Whatever it was, it was killing him.

Now Itachi could see his house. It felt like time was slowing, for the dread pooling in his heart and coating the air must've been slowing him down. All he wanted to do was nothing.


As he walked up to the front of the house, he let his mind wander to his task at hand; he was to wipe out his entire clan.

He never liked the thought of murder. He never liked the concept of stealing a human life. But this was a must, an order. He began to form a checklist of who was left.

"....Nah, killed her already... Yeah I killed them yesterday... Who's left?"

He pulled the door closed and took his sweater off, leaving him in just a black t-shirt, dark, grayish blue pants, and shoes. Itachi's house was dark and almost empty, as no lights were on downstairs. He had already killed his parents years ago, and he explained to Sasuke, who had barely understood at the time what happened, that they had died from unknown diseases. The house silent, except for the occasional sound from nine-year-old Sasuke's room upstairs.

Itachi froze after the thought left his brain. He stared at the wall across the room, and after a second he began to breath heavily, as if he'd gotten the wind knocked out of him and clenched his teeth. His fist tightened and relaxed and a drop of sweat formed on his head as he realized the unbearable truth.

There was only one left.

"S-Sasuke..." Itachi's breathing hitched in realization. He had to... to kill his baby brother. His innocent, helpless Otouto. "Kusou..."

Slowly, Itachi dragged himself to the stairs and climbed them to the second floor. He walked for a bit and then turned into the doorway of Sasuke's room, in which the kid was sitting, eyes glued to the tv. It was quite adorable actually.

"No! Can't start thinking like that now... You... You have to kill him... This is NOT optional. He's an just as much an Uchiha as Regashi and all the others."  Itachi reprimanded himself. But what was this new emotion? He'd never felt this way towards his brother before. Pushing the thought aside, Itachi stepped in front of the tv.

Sasuke snapped out of his digital trance and pouted, and the corners of Itachi's mouth pulled up in a miniscule smile.

Man, would he miss his Otouto.

"Hey, Sasuke, can I talk to you for a minute?"

Sasuke's pout instantly diffused from his face into the air. "Yeah! What's the matter, Aniki?" he asked, standing up.

Sighing painfully, Itachi wrapped his fingers around the front of his little brother's neck, and the other on back. They both hit the wooden wall and Itachi pinned Sasuke to it, in front of him.

Tears formed and fell out of pure fear in those innocent onyx eyes. "I-I-Itachi! Wh-What're you doing?" His scared voice made Itachi feel even more dreadful. Reluctantly, Itachi pulled a razor sharp kunai out of his pocket and held it in a shaky hand at Sasuke's neck.

Sasuke's eyes widened at the kunai, and he whimpered as he looked up at Itachi. The sound of it made the older Uchiha cringe, he didn't want to put his baby brother through this. He was supposed to protect him, that was the unwritten code. What kind of older brother would do thisl? But he had no choice. There was no other option. And there was no exception. Not even Sasuke.

Itachi's mouth twitched as he pressed the kunai a little further into Sasuke's neck, breaking some skin. Sasuke whimpered a few times and more tears spilled over the sides of his soft onyx orbs. Itachi watched as dark crimson blood danced down his little brother's neck, and more whimpers erupted from the younger Uchiha. And there was that feeling again, now more prominent.

From under his touch he could feel Sasuke shaking. Named Uchiha gazed back up into his older brother's eyes, and he was the only one left in the world that could do that. He also had the Sharingan blood, although it had not activated yet.

Itachi applied slightly more pressure, and Sasuke whimpered loudly, like he was going to cry full force. The older willed himself to go on, to get the job done.

"Just a little further..."

But he couldn't. Not with the terrible fear lurking in his little Otouto's eyes. Not with the way his whole body shook, and not with the way he whimpered helplessly, that sound hurt more than anything. He loved him too much.

Suddenly Itachi dropped the kunai and it clanged when it hit the hard floor. Sasuke didn't move from his position against the wall, and neither did the older. He gazed into Sasuke's eyes for a second, then collapsed into a sitting position on the floor, turning his head sharply to the left. He wouldn't blame his brother if he never trusted him again.

"A-Aniki?" Sasuke peeled himself off the wall, and hesitantly leaned over to his brother.

Itachi, eyes threatening to leak, wrapped him arms around his baby brother's waist and pulled him into his lap. He hugged Sasuke tightly and thanked whatever force that was out there for stopping him.

He could feel Sasuke's cheek against his, warm from the rush of blood under his skin and crying, and lower jaw still trembling a bit. Itachi hugged him still tighter.

"I'm so sorry... Otouto..." he managed a pained whisper. Then, to his immense surprise, he felt two small arms reach as wide around him as they could. "It's okay if you hate me... You don't have to pretend..."

"It's okay... Aniki..."

Itachi's eyes widened. "Sasuke... You know I would never do this to you at my own free will... Don't you?"

Sasuke nodded into his chest. "Yeah..."

That strange emotion erupted from his heart for the third time and coated his insides with with a strange desire. His Otouto forgave him... After he almost took his life...

A rush of desire flooded through his veins. He realized what this emotion was. Lust. No, love. Lust and love.

Only to make Itachi twitch in more desire, Sasuke absentmindedly fingered the creases in older's pants. When those creases were gone, he moved up his thigh towards the next one. It was an innocent act of course, and Sasuke didn't realize what it was doing to Itachi.

Named Uchiha felt himself getting harder. At this point, Sasuke was more than halfway up. When he was finished with his most recent wrinkle, he looked up with questioning eyes at his brother's silence. Taking advantage of the opportunity, Itachi leaned the rest of the way forward and claimed Sasuke's lips.

At first Sasuke froze. Itachi held him tighter and deepened the kiss to show his little brother he wasn't in danger. He loved him too much. Sasuke seemed to have gotten the message, and had slowly started to participate. He moaned as Itachi's tongue licked lips, and then prodded at his teeth.

Itachi chuckled to himself at this. His little brother was only nine years old, of course he didn't know what Itachi meant by those actions. He'd just have to get him to open his mouth. Oh well, he'd learn someday.

First Itachi licked his lips again, just to see if being gentle was enough. Unfortunately, he got nothing from that, and he smirked into the kiss. Nothing was easy with Sasuke.

Carefully, he positioned his teeth just right and gently bit down on the younger's bottom lip. At the new and unexpected action, Sasuke gasped and Itachi took his opportunity, and opened his eyes. Sliding his tongue into Sasuke's mouth, he moaned loudly, making his little brother jump and snap his eyes open at the alien sound. He'd never heard it from his brother before.

As red Sharingan met gray onyx, Sasuke quickly closed his eyes again, and Itachi could feel his little brother's face heating up.

Sighing, he broke the kiss and held his baby brother tight, pressing his forehead to Sasuke's.

"Otouto... I love you so much... I'd never hurt you even to save my life..."

At this, Sasuke began to cry. "Aniki! You're gonna die?"

Itachi was stunned for about half a second, but then realized what his brother thought. He hugged Sasuke tighter.

"Sasuke... I'm not going anywhere... I'll never leave you..." he whispered in his brother's ear.

The sobbing ceased at once. "S-So why'd you say th-"

Itachi cut him off and crashed their lips together again, and pushed his tongue in right away. He pushed at the spot under Sasuke's tongue and a surprised, high-pitched moan came from the younger Uchiha. He let his tongue roam the rest of Sasuke's mouth before ejecting it and kissing him hard. When he finally broke the kiss, they sat, Sasuke on Itachi's lap, panting.

Itachi leaned in close to his brother's face. "Sasuke... I'd never even dream of leaving you alone... What I meant was, I'd sacrifice myself if it meant that you'd be spared."

Sasuke's eyes lightened a considerable amount, but Itachi could still see some insecurity lurking about them. "Aniki... Stay here ..." he said, closing his eyes and leaning against his big brother's chest.

Itachi smiled down at him and wrapping and arm around his shoulders. The comforting blanket of silence wrapped around them and they stayed like that for what seemed like hours.
